Patient Care Coordinator

I am the newest member of a great team at Sonora Smiles. I grew up in Sonora and have a very large family in Tuolumne County. I have two boys and one girl, all of whom are grown and doing well in their careers. I am new to the dentistry field and look forward to learning from this great team. I have 20 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer which is helpful in my position at Sonora Smiles. I spend my spare time with my three grandchildren who live in Tuolumne County as well. I have always had a passion for helping people and this position will fulfill that passion in helping patients understand they can afford the dental treatment they need or wish to have.

Hygiene Coordinator

Michelle is the newest member of the Sonora Smiles Team. She has extensive experience in patient coordinating and is always excited to learn new and different aspects of her job. We are excited to have her on our team.

Hygienist

After being born and raised here, in beautiful Sonora, I decided to return after completing my degree in Dental Hygiene. I have worked in the dental field since 2005 and have been a part of the Sonora Smiles team since 2007. I am proud to work in an office that provides exceptional dental care with a dentist who treats his staff and patients like family.

My passions include spending time with my family, snowboarding, hiking, and any activities which involve being outside.

Hygienist

Vicki has been a part of the Sonora Smiles team since 2009. She is a wonderful addition to our hygiene staff. She lives in Long Barn with her husband and daughter.

Registered Dental Assistant

Although I was born in Modesto, I moved here at the age of 8. I feel very fortunate to live and raise my daughter (Mya) in such a beautiful area. My hobbies include anything from catching the latest movie, shopping, or enjoying many of the outdoor activities the Motherlode has to offer. I began my dental career in 2009 and am excited to be part of the Sonora Smiles team.

Born and raised in Sonora I come from a large family that I enjoy spending time with. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, wake boarding, and camping. After being a patient of Dr. Dave’s since I was 16 years old, I was always fascinated with what they did, so eventually he hired me as an assistant. I really enjoy my job and feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. In July of 2011 I married my husband Mitch. We had out first son, Deegan, in April of 2012.

Laura is the newest member of the Sonora Smiles team.

Marketing Director

I have lived in Tuolumne County my entire life. Prior to joining the Sonora Smiles team, I was a teacher. In 2008, my husband, Dave, and I started a family and I became a full-time Domestic Engineer. In 2015, I joined the team as the Marketing Director. I love this position because not only do I get to advertise for this amazing business, but I get to work with many charitable organizations throughout the Mother Lode that give back to our community.

I love running and being active. If I am not working, you can find me doing something with my three boys, Wyatt, Lucas, or Jacob or my husband, Dave. We love camping, skiing, swimming, shooting our bows, hiking, or any other activity that lets us soak up the beautiful outdoors.

Ursyla

Hygienist

Ursyla is our newest dental hygienist. She was born in Ohio and moved to Sonora in 2003. As a child, she loved playing basketball. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family hunting or in the mountains at their family cabin.
